found some old bodies for a stampede we had, we actually just got a stampede and its going well so far except the charger it came with does not work

That “crackle” in your microphone is actually cell phone interference. Sometimes speakers make that noise when GSM phones receive a call.

Are you sure? It’s a super expensive microphone ($160) made specifically for the IPhone….I would think they would have that worked out….also it didn’t seem to do that in the first few months I was using it…..it’s been doing it the last 6 months or so now…..I just don’t wanna go out and buy another one with how expensive they are

@@RCKnockout I know that I really enjoy driving my 2wd stampede and it’s still brushed. Originally I had planned on upgrading it but honestly I like it the way it is. Kinda worried brushless would be too much.

@@StoneFPV- so far mines held up pretty well….a few breakages, but If you’re content with it brushed….then I wouldn’t worry about upgrading it

Did u chang out the gears when u put the new motor / upgrades just bought this for my son and trying to learn more about it I want to upgrade the motor/ battery to make it go alittle faster but being a 2 wheeldrive I don't want to make it to fast and can't control it. Any advice would be very appreciated

If it’s a brushed model and you want a bit more speed you can put on the high speed included gearing but it will definitely get hotter when you drive it off pavement…outside of that you’ll probably have to swap to a brushless system if you want more speed and power….or a different brushed motor I have changed the gearing multiple times on this rc….just been trying out different setups

Pretty cool track run with your 2wd Stampede, I used to want a VXL Stampede but i already have a Slash 2wd i plan to build someday. but currently i'm working on my XO-1 i plan to buy a new Radio-Link RC8X radio for it and my other RC's next month.

i know money is shot right now but you should get the arrma kraton 4s v1 motor and on 2s lipo it lasts me 50 minutes on one 2s pack! i run very low gearing that might be why but 50 minutes and 25mph ill take it!! the motor is around 100$ so not cheep but way worth it!!! epic video love the stampede 🔥🔥🔥

Had a similar setup in my 2wd pede. Run the teeth off my top shaft. You can feel those metal shafts dog it down - went back to stock shafts and wheels.

I am excited for my brand new Traxxas stampede vxl 2wd with the new magnum transmission but not i kind of wish i bought base model stampede and put a cheap brushless system in it, great content!

For the money……it’s definitely worth going with the Vxl model with the Magnum 272R transmission
