This is the same guy that on his original 911 call was more upset about the 911 operator asking if the incident occured at a mobile home. Human excrement in a t-shirt.

He seems very cohesive in his thoughts and memories, and has several people he sets up as suspects. When my husband died in an accident, I couldn't stop screaming for almost an hour. I just kept shouting "NO! NO!" I was in shock for days. Frankly, if that was me, I'd probably be in such a state I'd need to go to the hospital. I just don't hear the horror in his voice that anyone would have who found their wife and son murdered. But everyone is different.

He isn't puzzling over what happened, why, or anything. Most people realize the future they were supposed to have is now gone and they start questioning how to everything. Shock of how it's all happening, etc. He isn't doing that at all! He says grabbing a gun after finding your family murdered was "probably an overreaction." Really think about that! Who would say that if you were innocent?! Someone is on your property murdering people, would you find protecting yourself an overreaction?
@NOLALessNOW

I agree! Most people wud be saying, ‘I can’t believe this!’ “ Or, OMG!” over & over….as they shake they’re head back and forth with the 1000 yard stare. Denial sets in to emotionally protect us. A real father disbelieves his child is dead. He’s already processed & accepted it.

@@edwinacaparelli9911 has there been any evidence of him being on drugs? Someone in his life would have noticed him being high. I know people addicted to opidoids and you can tell. I can't help but wonder if that wasn't a lie for sympathy and an excuse for his actions. Maybe it's to explain where the money went so they don't look for its trail somewhere else. Idk, I just think there is more to learn here. I can't help but think we don't know his real motives. That just my guess though.

@@LaPetiteBoulin an opioid attic doesn't need to be nodding out 24/7 like the stereotype would have you believe. Many people do it so much their tolerance so great, that they can drive operate heavy machinery and fool everybody including the police that they are sober. It's not necessarily like we see on TV or like you often see on the street where these people are destitute they have no home therefore they have no sleep which causes them to look like they so strung out all the time. He had a home and the means to pay for his addiction until he didn't anymore. I'm not saying that for sure he was an addict because that could be alive very well. I agree with you on that point but I'm also saying that people will not know what they don't know. I am a recovering addict and I was able to function and work a regular job for years without being found out. It's very easy to hide

The adding of the cell phone falling out his pocket is so inconsequential to the facts he's trying to give, it must mean something to him. He's probably worried his DNA will be on it, so setting up a scenario that would mean he touched it. Having said that, I husband was shot in front of me, and the details I remembers after the fact, were bizarre. Things you wouldn't even consider you'd remember, become pivotal parts of your memory of the incident. For instance, I couldn't remember what the man was wearing, but I remember his shoes down to the brand and design. 🤷🏻‍♀️

He mentioned son's cell phone bc he touched it likely to see when likely to see what was last communication to Rogan (the owner of dog named Cash). listening again - AM never said he wasn't at kennels and said he was "on his way back" in fact so I don't think his behavior or anything he has said contradicts other statements he has made and nothing unusual about the going back and forth and changing clothes. What he said in the beginning sounds plausable- and more than reasonable doubt that he committed these murders - (he may have "stolen" money or misappropriated money but that does not make him a murderer)

Did anybody catch Alex's answer when asked how his relationship with Paul was? He said, " as good as it could be". That is not necessarily a positive response. Perhaps it was "as good as it could be," considering Paul had caused his father all kinds of problems by wrecking the boat while drunk and causing a girl to die. That situation caused a domino effect for the exposure of other sins of his father. Alex said it firmly, not compassionately.

This is a man whose job was to not show what he thinks. NO BODY KNOWS WHAT IT WOULD BE TO FIND YOUR FAMILY MURDERED IN SUCH A SAVAGE WAY. You don't know what to do hold your family or preserve the crime scene. If he shot them his clothes should have been soaked with blood spatter. Hes a former prosecutor. I would think he could think up a better murder plan than that. I really don't think he did it. Like him or not.

Seriously? He couldn't come up with anything better than an urban legend type tale that every male heard on the schoolyard, about being so tough you were recruited by the FBI, CIA, etc. My experience was lacking the racist Black Panther angle though.

I don't think he did it! The defense idea that he killed his family to get the attention away from his financial crimes is just too out there. Plus his emotions seem genuine to me, but it could just be because of his southern accent

I think maybe he killed Paul cause he was gonna cost a lot of money fighting this boating charge that he knew he didn't have..... and maggie had moved out already and was going to file for divorce and had hired a forensic auditor or something like that to investigate where all her husband's money had gone....so that would be the motive for her death I think. Not so much about taking attention away from his crimes via sympathy. And if anyone was gonna hurt Paul because of the boating thing it would of happened already..... that incident was years ago.
