I was blessed to meet Corey twice at two different UK conventions years ago. Bumped into him before he went signing table first time, told him The Lost Boys is my favourite movie of all time and he immediately hugged me! Chatted a bit. Second time, he was booked for a sci-fi/Manga type convention and no one really knew who he was. He recognised me straight away and I bought him a beer. Dude was sound as! Total gent, really sweet soul. Last thing I said to him was 'Take care of yourself, man.' He said 'Yeah, yeah.' He was like 'Dude, I'm serious. Be safe. Please.' He nodded and said 'I'm alright, man.....I'm alright.'

Loved Corey Haim ever since Lucas. He developed into such charismatic screen appeal. What happened to him in the industry leading to his death wasn't his fault. He was victimized and had no one to protect him.

man reading all of these negative comments on here is sad itself. Y'all didn't know Haim personally and unless you were a drug addict, then you don't know how it is to go through or get over drugs. and lets not forget that Corey Haim was molested many times when he was younger which led to the heavy drug use. Haim's mother forced him into this industry and knew everything that was going on so the people that Haim was surrounded by all of his life was a big issue itself. Feldman was just as bad on the drug use too, but I think if Haim had people that actually cared about him and maybe a girlfriend, he would've still been alive today. You can't deny that Haim was a great actor, but like they say, Hollywood is the devil's playground. It can make you and break you.

MakeUpBy Shay, congratulations, and wishing you well. Many see addiction as a weakness, but it's a disease, a horrible hereditary disease. I also believe if Corey had a good support system, he would be alive today.
@Jazzykatt234 жыл бұрын
June DeRose I don’t disagree about Feldman bringing drugs around but this was a Hollywood in the 80s and everyone had them. It’s not like Feldman forced them down his throat. The executives were giving them to him to keep him working long hours. Although I don’t trust Feldman has good intentions, I also take into account that he too is a product of his environment. Corey’s mom was no help and enabled him his entire life. She loved the Hollywood scene and wanted to keep the money coming even at the expense of her own son. You don’t know for a fact that he was only molested by one person. Those things are hard to speak of and shame could have kept him silent.
@Jazzykatt234 жыл бұрын
RICHMOND FAJARDO Of course he adored his mother. They were extremely close but that was because she treated him more like a friend than a son. She never gave him boundaries and encourage his partying behavior. She enabled a lot of what he did.

Corey Haim battled a lot of Demons from his childhood up til the day he passed. It's a shame that he is no longer here on this earth. I do believe that he would've become an even greater actor & possibly had major roles in today's best hit series. He was such a sweet soul & a beautiful person.

He's so down to earth here (and in many other interviews), it amazes me. Watching these interviews makes me feel like I'm listening to a friend. Whenever someone compliments him or wishes him good, he seems to be sincerely happy about it & thankful. He lights up in an instant. The simple things meant so much to him, from what I've seen. I also know that he was a generous, loving and trusting guy - that kind of guy people take advantage of. It hurts to see that especially the good-hearted people are being followed by so much negative things they don't deserve and suffer through them which in most cases ultimately leads to their - way too soon - death. He was the same precious human being as Michael Jackson & I will never get over these beautiful souls. God bless them.

He mostly overcame his psychological problems, and his future was Positively on track at the time of his premature passing. It was his health problems that got him, which mostly did stem from his smoking, years of various illegal and prescription drugs, and just not taking care of his body for most of his adult life. I was so broken hearted when his mother died my mom had the same poison given to her when we visited them in Salem Oregon my mom was bedridden and sick for months after our visit to Salem Oregon where Cory's mom was moved into a secure apartment with his little brother where they were both poisoned... I turned 50 this year and I'm proud that he was my best friend when we were little kids I've always been broken hearted what happened to his mom and my mom both but that's part of the film industry and how they ruin their families... COREY WOODHAUL...
