Why do NNPCL and oil marketers insist on continuing imports when Dangote can meet domestic demand, in clear violation of the NCD Act? Why is there so much secrecy around the crude prices sold to Dangote and the refined product prices for NNPCL? Instead of being an obstacle, why can't NNPCL support Dangote and drive progress? And why are petrol prices rising almost every two weeks? There are so many unanswered questions, yet nobody is addressing Nigerians about this confusion. Is this government truly serious?

It doesn't make sense to sell crude oil that will be used by Nigerians at the same international price , whether in naira or in dollars. If you do, do you then expect a taxi driver in Nigeria who buys fuel at the same price with a taxi driver in US or Dubai to charge the equivalent amount per drop, with that of US or Dubai taxi drivers!!!!? That will be over N12, 000 per drop of not less than 2 kilometers!!!! This tells you that the pricing regime by NNPC is shady and insincere. Nothing lasts forever.
