Fabulous performance! Violet evergarden is honestly one of my favorite anime, entirely because of the quality of the artwork done by the animators, and the depth of the story. The way they make you feel the emotions of the characters, and how violet learns what it means to love, in her own way. Its truly a beautiful show, and i dont regret a single tear i shed watching it.

Wiki: Gilbert miraculously survived the war, but at the cost of one of his arms and his right eye. In order for Violet to not go back to the way she used to be, only following his orders and acting as his tool, Gilbert entrusted Hodgins with taking care of Violet.
