I tried during the pandemic and it was horrible. It's slave labor and your hours are based on performance. I was only working 4 hours a day for 5 days and I was so exhausted by the 4th month and couldn't even get out of bed in the morning. To add insult to injury the stress caused me to get constipation and hemorrhoids a week after I quit 😮‍💨

Thanked the customers, made sue people got their fries. He treated EVERYONE respectfully. I don’t think McDonald’s values anybody, including their consumer base, but there are other food service establishments that definitely reciprocate what the employee puts in. They’re becoming increasingly rare, but they still exist. As far as it being meaningful, while it’s not literal rocket science, people who love food service are the reason why every time we order food it doesn’t take an hour to get a plate of inedible slop.
