Sion, On the old Sharp stereo you undo the Volume/Tuner knobs and there will be some thin brass bolts on the spindles, you undo them then a flat trim panel will come off the spindles and then the radio pushes back and gives you screwdriver access to those clips so you can use a flat blade screwdriver and press them down, take out the panel, then pull the radio out. You don't take it out like a DIN radio as it has the spindles. Cheers Steve

Another great video thanks Clare & Elton. My favourite cars were the Fords of course especially the RS2000, Mk1 Fiestas, Mk1 Capri, etc. I do love the Dolly Sprints as well. I'm going to the auction tomorrow, see you both there. ☺️👍

Hello from the colonies. [NZ] Learnt to drive in Model A Ford and a Morris Minor, depending on Dad's mood at the time. I'd love to have that light blue Mercedes convertible, or the Scimitar SE5a, the one inside. Clare, you need to get yourself a Merc. [.Just for a short while.] Once you've got it you'll never go back. I've got 4 older ones. Can't help myself.

I thoroughly enjoyed this video thank you! So many desirable cars at relatively good prices. I’m a Mustang fan though, so those 3 were my favourites. I own two examples of the late model (those are known as the S197, and that Grabber Orange one was by a well known US specialist called Roush, and its feature a supercharged 4.6 V8. My two……one is a black 4.6 V8 which is my Garage Queen (owned for 17 years now!) and a silver 4.0 V6 which is my daily driver, including the school run! As for what I learned to drive in, my instructor had a Mk1 Fiat Uno and I also used my mum’s MK1 Fiesta. Loving your channel 🙂

That's a nice garage you've got there! Are modern American cars good as daily drivers? A lot of people assume they're expensive to run.
@paultucker12724 ай бұрын
The great thing about the Mustang is they are as common as muck in the US so parts are cheap. I can get a full filter set delivered from the US (inc taxes) for £80. The parts themselves are less than £30, so it’s the delivery that stings. Insurance is about £400 from a specialist. They’ll do 18-20 mpg, so even that’s not too bad. Plus they are simple and reliable if looked after. Sure, they are a bit uncouth, but I buy into the Amercana. There’s a great club scene over here too (I help run the largest Mustang club over here…..Simply Mustangs UK 🙂

The prices are on the Anglia Car Auctions website and will be in their ‘results’ section soon - angliacarauctions.co.uk/classic-auctions/2636-06-Apr-2024 If you have time, their KZbin channel also has the livestream videos of both days.

Who's Alex?
@UKBarnFinds3 ай бұрын
Hi, Elton here. I'm not entirely sure where my own love of cars came from, but I did have a Saturday job in a garage when I was about 13 and, after a few months of sweeping floors and doing the sandwich run, I was taught how to do basic services on MG's. I got to see a lot of performance cars there, as it was one of the few garages that had a rolling road, so that part of my life would have had an impact on me as I was growing up.

@@trigsretromotors this is what happens when you have you tube on continuous play you make the wrong comment to the wrong person although with a bit of editing this is now the right comment to the right person and I haven't had loads to drink tonight 🤣🤣🤣. Alex is a very nice young lady from Alex's assets who owns a few old classic rovers lol have a look at her channel of you want mate 😀.
