The faded vividness of the camo just convinces me further that Night Shift would rock a Warhammer 40k or other sci fi tank

Would be interesting to see something like a rhino modified by him, he's a really skilled painter but I think he's an even more patient modeler, I wonder how he would handle all that beautiful exaggerate detailing he does while working on models

A walker would be interesting to see, like a sentinel or a dread. Also an armour modelers take on power armour would also be interesting.

when not in combat the crew regularly rode outside on top of the tank which could also explain the dirt on the upper surfaces. looks amazing!!!

I must say, that post-shading looks great as the core of the weathering! The dust really helped to enhance it. The aqualine took me back a few years, keep up the great work!

Once again you NEVER let us down with your skills.I keep learning and learning more every week.Awesome finish to this kit.
@stephenbridges27912 жыл бұрын
Very nice results. I'm a fan of post-shading. I probably lean more towards post than pre-shading. Both are useful, but; it's nice to see how someone like you approaches it. Very well done.
@randytaylor12582 жыл бұрын
One of the nice things about armour is that you can build the kit and then spend as much time as you want finishing it. No one sees your car's engine unless the hood is open and no one will see much of your airplane's cockpit with the canopy closed or a pilot filling it. But everything you do to finish a tank is right there for everyone to see.

Every single time i see you doing a billion steps of weathering i start feeling insecure about just using drybrushing and simple mud c: Great work, it just makes me happy when i see you upload!
@randytaylor12582 жыл бұрын
Washes, pin-washes, and dry-brushing aren't difficult and are very subtle except where you emphasize them. Tell yourself a story like our host, and apply weathering to reflect that on your model.
@chev2500hd12 жыл бұрын

Hey Night Shift, have you looked into using one of the Ammo Shaders for your pre dusting coat? wondering if it might be worth looking at for those trying to follow your example and have a hard time mixing paints and thinning like you do.

I'm considering something like that on the next model, adding pre-dusting to the post-shading and hitting the dust layers with some of those Shaders
