Full Wrap Tumbler Tutorial on PiBurn

This is a detailed Tutorial Showing how to do a full wrap 360 degree laser engraving on tapered (or ANY other) tumblers.
NOTE: I made an error in aming second part 2. It should be Part 2: Graphics work
It took me a while to figure out how to do it properly and I found that this method works great! Remember 80% of it is graphics design (vector work in Illustrator). Once you get workflow nailed down, you can do any pattern designed in minutes. And after you dial in perfect circumference size for all you tumblers, it will take almost no effort! That's the beauty of the process.
However I realize that this is probably not the only way to do patterns/wraps, and it's possible you have a better way! Don't be shy leave a comment!

Thanks for taking the time to make this tutorial! What is the point of changing the scan angle to -180? Isn't that same as leaving it at 0 angle since it engraves both directions (i.e. bi-direction fill)?

I'm confused by how this works when the tumbler has two different circumferences? It looked like you made your first test at the top and then the second at the bottom how can these lines be the same if the circumference is different?

Any advice on why I’m ending up with a small gap? i want to fully wrap a design but it diet not…
