Seriously! I ran across this channel the other day, and when I saw him talking to Big Daddy Kane, I was amazed at how humble he was acting. Normally in situations like these, it'd just be two legends shooting the shit. Neither giving the other an inch. Joe's just like, "I'm in your world, and I'm totally cool with that." We could all learn from his example.

But LL has hits that give those same purists a dose of nostalgia and adrenaline, and then he has a bag of hits for the club and for the ladies. LL might have more versatile records.

For the Fat Joe's and etc who always underrated MC Shan . MC Shan recording from 1985 to ...... MC Shan is one of the most underated Poetic MC's of all times ... My nick name for him is Mr First .He was the first to do a smooth flow minus the screaming when he first appeared on the records called Marly Scratch and Cuts So Fresh in 1985. MC Shan was also the first MC to diss LL Cool J on "Beat Biter". To which Def jam ordered LL Cool J not to respond. He was the first to make a diss record calling the opposition by the actual name in his diss record against LL Cool J . He was almost unarguably the first to drop lyrics inspired from the lessons of the five percent nation, this is displayed in the rhymes, he did against L Cool J on his record called Beat Biter. He was the first to make a classic hip hop love blues ballad in "Left Me Lonely ". He was the first to metaphor a drug into a woman in Classic stand alone single "Cocaine" 1986. He was first to make a bonafide classic hit single with a song for his hood in the "Bridge" . He was the first to rock a particular type of multi syllabic flow while taking Hip Hop to Syfy on the single " MC Space" off the Down By Law album . Shan was also the first to do a great hip hop anthem in the song called "Living In The World of Hip Hop ". On his second album He was the first to verbally make a record scratch style with his word in the middle of his flow in the song "Words To My Freestyle". The first Prince of Rap who didn't have to scream his lyrics on record. He is Mr First.... Oh yeah his second album was actually better than his first .......
