W moim kraju podążamy za Timmym w jego podróżach, aby spotkać się z mężczyznami w tylnej części jego ciężarówki w domu. Poprosiliśmy go, aby latał dronem, aby mógł nagrać i transmitować siebie wabiącego młodych, niczego niepodejrzewających chłopców do tylnej części swojej kabiny.

The transmission will cool more efficiently if you leave the vehicle running with the transmission in neutral this would allow the fluid to pass through the transmission cooler ( if one is equipped) and be cooled by the ambient air. I had a similar issue with my Silverado when towing and added an aftermarket cooler and fan that works a lot better the stock unit.

Also, not sure if he’s driving in low range, but for climbing, putting it in low range will help keep the trans from running as hot
@jeffhagelin940Ай бұрын
When you are cooling the trans off , leave it idle if the coolers are work properly it should cool right down . And doesn't cook your oils.
@j_rainsgoat3929Ай бұрын
You'd think so. I wonder if he washes out his radiator oil and trans cooler fins? Probably allot of bugs and dust in them gotta flush it out.
@jeffhagelin940Ай бұрын
@j_rainsgoat3929 another excellent point.
@timothymetzler7715Ай бұрын
Wouldn't you think if they are working correctly it would just stay cool
@jeffhagelin940Ай бұрын
@timothymetzler7715 Not always with the hills and low speed climbing, the Temps will be a bit higher. Just stop and let it idle should bring Temps back down. It always works on mine. I have a rig very similar.
@bwatkins1223Ай бұрын
When I used to plow snow in a 3/4 ton 6.0 Chevy that's what I did when the trans would get hot. Just park it and get out and stretch.

@wildmofo4865Ай бұрын
Hey Timmy, check your transmission cooler bypass tubes. When that starts sticking, the fluid stops going thru the cooler. That'll make your transmission run hot. There's a bypass eliminator kit to fix that common issue.

That bolt you found in the entrance and said "that looks important!" Is from the pivot point for the hinges in the wall of the oven. If you look directly under the oven door ther should be 2 metal tabs connecting most of the sheet metal panels and working as a pivot for the sprung hinges. I thought I recognized the bolt when you first picked it up but didn't say anything cause I wanted to see if the oven door was actually the problem. Hope it helps, hopefully no egg hunts.
