Just watched another video on DeChambeau and why he's so controversial. Great video. Literally have broken most of my set of clubs, just practicing my swing at the driving range. Thank the Send God's🙏 I Still have the putter from that set. I'll be buried with that thing. Going to go buy a set of DeChambeau Clubs! Vancouver B.C. Fan from 1st upload. SEND IT!

How dumb is Bob to ask if Brooks has real estate in his head??? Like what do you think Bryson’s going to say.. yes???
@bullwinklemoose82913 жыл бұрын
It's fairly clear that Bryson is way more in Brooks' head than the other way around. I mean, Brooks actually stopped talking during a live interview and rolled his eyes just because Bryson walked by him. If that's a textbook example of being in someone's head I don't know what is.
@drewfleming55843 жыл бұрын
It was the fact that he walked by with his metal cleats on the concrete when many players can't stand the fact that he wears them because they tear up the greens on courses.
@bullwinklemoose82913 жыл бұрын
@@drewfleming5584exactly. And who on tour worries about Bryson’s cleats? Tiger and Justin both wear metal…think Brooks rolls his eyes at them? It’s a non-issue anyway since spike marks can be tamped down.

Brooks was in Bysons head bigtime, he can deny it but it was clear at tournaments when the crowd chanted Brooksy & he stopped his swing routine & just stared at them & had them removed, cmon Bryson tell the truth, and then when he whooped u on the one on one match, im happy u all are getting along now but Brooks easily won that battle

Bryson portrays himself as someone who is better than everyone else in the field, on and off the course. Many athletes are arrogant, but people still gravitate towards them. Like a Tiger Woods or Michael Jordan. Then there is arrogance that just rubs people the wrong way and that’s what Bryson has. All he talks about is how far he hits it. When he was talking about playing with Tiger for the first time, he said plenty of nice things, but just had to tell everyone how he outdrove Tiger by 20 yards.

Haven't you ever heard the phrase 'any type of publicity is good publicity'? But having said that, I'm pretty sure it's a safe bet that the Tour is not actively promoting players getting into public feuds as a means of increasing clicks and/or promoting the PGA tour. On the other hand, I can honestly say that I think that the Phil vs Tiger thing has been very good for golf.
@SoCalGolfer19663 жыл бұрын

Brooks is the only guy on the tour that doesn't seem to like golf and is only there because he's obligated in some way.
@kyledavis6353 жыл бұрын
He's not obligated in any way, but he thinks it makes him look cool to say he doesn't like golf. Such a dick. So, he's played the game since he was a kid, for many years before he ever did it for a living, but want's everyone to believe that he hates it? Ok, sure (although maybe that explains his boorish attitude). The guy should be thanking his lucky stars every day for golf - it's made him a multi-millionaire. He's not splitting the atom in his spare time. If it wasn't for golf, he'd likely be serving beers to frat boy delta bravos like DeChambeau for a living....

Rewarding people for controversy is such a bad idea from the PGA. While I understand its growing interest in the game, its also selling yourself out completely. If we can't create good interesting stories around golf well we are going to take whatever we can. And who is going to create the boundaries of what's ok and what is not ok.
@huntkali10073 жыл бұрын
Its good for golf. Its needed to engage with the young, social media crowd and get them engaged
@Mike-id7bh3 жыл бұрын
@@huntkali1007 I don't disagree with that'll get them engaged. However so will a video of a car wreck. I think we have some responsibility to not fall into line with every change for money if we really suspect it's not a great idea. Call it a social responsibility if you want. I also think there is a stark difference between this beef happening naturally and actually getting rewarded financially for it, which is where we are at right now.
