WE ARE BACK. Today I install a new fuel pump on the 2014 YZ450F and a new fuel filter,cleaned out the throttle body and fuel injector, and rebuilt the airbox with the No Toil Super Flo kit! Did you test the fuel pressure first? I tested mine, it was at 45 psi, and steady after removing the voltage. I believe that's acceptable. A 2019 $150 pump is now in mid 2024 is ... $400. Bidenomics. The rebuild kit, All Balls at RMATV is right at $75 now. A Quantum fuel pump, which includes the fuel regulator (the All Balls doesn't) is also about $100.

Question, below the tank is the outlet for the fuel line when I have it disconnected from the fuel line fuel flows from it, and I was told that nothing should be flowing from that outlet unless I kick the bike meaning that the fuel pump would be pushing the fuel out, but when I disconnect my fuel line from the actual outlet of the gas tank it drips pretty heavily of fuel ,now when I take off my fuel pump the black hose that you had to replace in the video was not cracked and not loose. What do you think is the problem?

Juste a little advise from my previous bad experiences, never put rubber hose inside a tank, it will degrade and let the pressure out without any way of noticing it, you will run really lean an destroy your engine for a stupid hose. The right thing to put is like the original (hard plastic), you need to heat it up for insertion. Rubber hose are not ok for ethanol specially the outside of it and you need nice clamp or the clamp will cut the rubber clean. Nice try anyway ;)

berln berln ok that makes sense and thank you for telling me! I want to fix it but I cant find fuel pump parts anywhere! Only the whole pump... where can I get a new plastic hose??

@@FULLTHROTTLEFILMZ you need to look for nylon fuel line. You need a heat gun to install it, chose the inside diameter wisly it need to be snug and be able to fit on. No need for clamps. You can run the bike withe the rubber line for the moment, mine took 3 months to leak, it was a hell to troubleshoot ;). Good luck on your rebuild, I'm working on a 98 wr 400 right now

I bought a 2014 ya450 and it seemed like it was starving for gas and had to have the choke on to stay running,now it wont start. Im thinking that if i clean or replace both fuel injector and the fuel pump it will probably run again. It had spark and plentt of compression when i try to kick it over but wont start up. Im going to give this a try. Thanks a lot for this video. Really needed this
