I love this fuzz! It’s so good. Kinda like a big muff, kinda like a tone bender and mix in a fuzz face volume clean up on the guitar. That how it sounds to me. I use a strat through a fender 68 custom deluxe reverb amp. It also has an internal bias trimmer to get all the Velcro sounds or can be smoothed out.

I think this is the coolest germanium fuzz I've heard since the nkt Red Dot style and I think pound-for-pound it's probably actually Superior to that this thing seems so versatile I'm hoping I can find a way to get the money to get this thing such a great sounding fuzz box and a really cool design also probably pound for pound the best thing Mike Fuller has put together in years

Cool but it really hurts to not have the bias control accessible from the top of the pedal to make on the fly adjustments as you will likely need to tinker with bias a great deal from room to room and day to day.

Why not put the bias on the outside? Would be nice to be able to adjust, especially since Germanium Transistors are so temperature sensitive. I love collecting Fuzz pedals, but not feeling this one?

Hi, Kyle. I believe this is meant to be a Tone Bender style fuzz, but there is a lot of overlap between a Tone Bender and a Fuzz Face so depending on how you set it, you could probably achieve some Fuzz Face style sounds, as well. If you're strictly looking for a Fuzz Face style pedal, the Fulltone '69 or '70 pedals would be the ones to check out. Thanks for your interest! I think it is more specifically a Buzzaround, which is in the Tonebender family. Has pretty good clean up but not quite that of a FF. A great great circuit

Hello, I own this Queen Bee Fuzz pedal. In my pedal signal chain, it comes first right after a Boss TU-3W Chromatic Tuner. I wonder if the Boss pedal does act like a buffered pedal. In this case, what should I do ? Sorry, I'm a bit of a noob in terms of pedals signal chain, apart of the basic knowledge. I write this post because I read that the Boss chromatic tuners have a buffered signal that can be activated or deactivated. True or false ? Thanks in advance 😉

If your TU3 is a buffered pedal it wont pass signal without power (most boss pedals like 99.9 percent if them are bufferex). If it will pass signal without power its true bypass. If it is buffered then vintage fuzz's like this one based on a fuzz face should go before it or any other buffered pedals. If you place a buffered pedal before it then it's going to make your fuzz sound weak and thin/bright.

With no dowplaying whatsoever to this presenter or Sweetwater, this pedal as delivered, is a punk for all that it CAN DO if it was assembled/package-designed-layed-out with what it is capable of... only ONE footswitch...in 2020?!? Heck even the FullDrive has TWO footswitches FTLOG!!! I love most of his designs and own over a dozen of his various pedals but this is a sub-$240 pedal in the Glen-Snoddy-style of simple 1964 Maestro Fuzztone in the age of digital multifootswitch greatness...C'MON!!! I can provide reasons for my dissention! DG :)

A nice attempt... But I don’t hear ‘bees’! I hear a Marshally, fuzzy type thing. But it doesn’t have the velcro sound! Or that deep fuzzy saturation. It’s like a semi-fuzzy Marshall distortion... Which is good in itself... And it does sound decent... But this is definitely NOT the velcro, fuzziest, buzziest, old school fuzz, as attempted to portray in the advertising! Need to rewrite the promotional copy! Fuzzy distortion. That’s it! Also... Don is starting to look and sound like a woman on the way to becoming a golden girl! Geez dude! Looking very fey! Aerosmith and Jimmy Page are already looking like The Golden Girls! And extremely grotesquely so! Do you really want to join that club? Great playing, though!
