Definitely a sweet build. While you have the oil pan off for gasket. Have your fabricator weld and oil baffle with in pan. This is one of the "caugh" purposely designed flaws to cause oil starvation with the N55. Just mimic the s55 oil pans baffle...also the cam phaser bolts snap causing catastrophic damage...they're was a subtle recall on them. Fresh set of vanos a acuators too. Looking fwd too stage 2 turbo upgrade 😅. This gonn be sliding 😮for real.

The cam bolts would not snap.. They were backing out from improperly torqued from factory then of course hitting gears throwing timing ending in catastrophic damage

Coolant uses glycerol. Which is similar to artificial sugar. They use this to increase the boiling point. That’s why coolant boils at hotter temperatures than regular water. Still has toxic chemicals and additives. But yes it’s a sweet smell

Got my 2015 535i almost 2 years ago. Had 70k miles I’m almost at 110k miles with full bolt on stage 2+ from mhd. I’ve only changed the water pump and thermostat for maintenance . No issues so far I need to get on some of these billet parts before something happens though. The car runs way cooler with the tune.

Thanks for supporting the channel. You are referring to a different type of "bullet proof" built engine racing I guess. I'm very familiar with everything that has to do with BMW engines, but I'm referring to the lifetime of the engine in " reliable miles" with the parts mentioned in this video not building a forged engine.
