Thank you for sharing your build. I know plenty of model railroaders that would love to have their own HO RC heavy equipment. Brings a whole new level of railroad operation. Fantastic job ! Got a new project I'm working on. A HO 1960's P&H 1900 mining shovel. Should be fun. God bless.

Really incredible, I did not realize that they made servos small enough to put into something so small.

OMG! I want one! How much to buy? I want the Faller Container Crane, the DCC one! I'm wanting to scratch build my own ocean container ship A frame crane! I'll need 2 or 3 of those because my custom scratch built container ship will be about 7 feet long! Yea, a massive container port yard and container yard! Oh, and I'm wanting to build an 8 foot square truck stop. I started collecting HO scale trucks before I becoming an HO train modeler. I used to build my own custom trailers for the trucks and at last count I was up over 2000 pieces!

I am glad you like it but, this crane was a real hair pulling project. Always the first one is the hardest. It took me a very long time to build it, I don't even remember, maybe 70-90 hrs. I have built other containers which are easier than this small one. If you are serious about buying a large container crane like the ones I have done, like the green one ( I have one like the green one unbuilt) or the yellow and also a blue one. Let me know. I am working on my container yard and should be ready soon. The large Faller container crane, I am not sure when I can start that but that will be a hand full too. tnx
