Hello. I was HS for 1 1/2 years based in CA 👎. I went into brokering then eventually day trading. I do miss HS, but insurance in CA doubled after initial run and I didn’t feel like paying it. Looks like You’re doing great. Load positioning looks great. You’re strapping and tarping methods are spot on. You have a couple added bells and whistles on the trailer makes it easier. I added a few for ease myself. Can go on but too much to list. Reach out if you ever have any questions. And Keep those wheels a rolling.

Hey @rayfranco1259 do you have any pointers in day trading? I’m transitioning and trying to learn the ropes. If you are able to shed any insight in the trading game I’d greatly appreciate it.

@@Kingk0089 Hi. I can tell you that keeping your day job while learning is ideal. Try to have a swing shift job or depending on where you live to try and keep the market hours open. Then once you get good enough to make at least a little more than a living wage every trading day, quit the day job. As you get better, it’ll be better concentrating on your trading skills and not having to think about other work. Loss management is a great thing to learn when it comes to trading. Time management is also a good discipline as well. Prosper my friend.

@@Kingk0089 I should add that before you quit the day job make sure it is the best thing for yourself keeping in mind not only wages but benefits like medical insurance and dental. You don’t want to lose your benefits from you previous job before you can afford them with your new job. Hope this makes sense. It’s the little things that we always forget about when we have our eyes on the big things.

Enjoyed the video Alex. I enjoy watching the securement. Learn something new every video you do. 4500 is excellent! Question, which def do you run? I saw the jugs in the bed but couldn't make them out. The dpf filter plugged up on our 2021 3500 at 60k miles when it wouldn't go into regen anymore.
@Mr.AlexKogan
@Mr.AlexKogan 6 ай бұрын
Hey, thank you! I use Walmart SuperTech brand. It’s $10. Can’t beat that. Never had any trouble with this def. On my 22 Ram I started having issues with my dpf filter early on. Maybe around 20k miles. It was going into regen very frequently. I don’t know if it was clogged or if there was another problem there. As soon as the regen would finish, it would start clogging up eventually within 10 miles and about 20 min after that it would regen again. Dealer replaced the filter and everything was good after.
@alvinmann7675
@alvinmann7675 6 ай бұрын
@Mr.AlexKogan yeah we're from Texas and ours left us in limp mode in Tennessee. We were passed the emission warranty mileage wise. Another dpf was 4k and it was on back order so had no choice but to put the truck on a diet... all good since then. But yeah that dpf is a known issue. It clogs to the point where regen won't help. You can also remove it and they "bake em" which cleans them out but won't do us much good on the side of the road at the moment.

That Tuatara machine looks cool, seems like a bad idea to put "chain points" on the body.. did it twist any when you tightened the chains? why not strap/chain to the frame?
@Mr.AlexKogan
@Mr.AlexKogan 6 ай бұрын
That is a pretty cool machine. There were no chain down points on the frame. The points on the body were specifically made for chaining it down. I agree that is not the best spot to put those chain down points but that’s how they made it. It was pretty solid, no twisting at all.

When getting your 10 hour reset you mark sleeper or off duty? Went on my first trip last week and was putting off duty thoughts?

I’ve always done off duty but once a dot officer said the correct way is to mark sleeper. I still make off duty because it’s always worked for me and never had any trouble. The whole load was just over 6000lb. The piece in the middle was semi tall so it had a bit of an impact on fuel but not horrible. Tall is always worse than heavy for fuel mileage. That guy loading it was too distracted with his cigarette and talking. lol. I was scared he was going to hit the car in front. 🤣
