Not really. Yes they are creating great cars, but rarely of the quality of European vehicles. Prices are narrowing to, which ultimately puts me off. I considered kia EV's but the Skoda EV was better quality and better value.

Very nice. I have just taken delivery of a new Kona EV and it is a big upgrade from the previous model. It shares a lot of styling cues from the new Ioniq 9 and do not see myself moving away from Hyundai. The only improvement I would like to see is integrated recording cameras front and rear. Having to set up a 3rd party dashcam and having to route the wires is a pain and should be mandatory on all new cars. It should lower insurance premiums if all new vehicles had dashcams as standard.

@shauny22706 күн бұрын
A factor one must never forget is that, whether the car is good or not (and our Ioniq 5 is the best car we've ever had), there is more to owning a particular brand than what the reviewers tell you in KZbin videos. For instance, our experience as Hyundai customers in the UK has been abysmal. Dealership franchises seem unable (and sometimes unwilling) to address issues with EV cars such as our Ioniq, especially relating to manufacturer recalls. Communication with Hyundai is often terrible or nonexistent. Hyundai garages don't know how to diagnose or fix problems, and we've been to many, many dealerships to hopefully find the best service but were sadly disappointed. These hard-to-ignore factors have really put us off from buying the 2025 Ioniq 5. So we recommend that reviewers add this angle to the excellent videos they make to create a bigger picture of what it means to be a customer of a specific brand.
