I was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer at age 38 in 2014. I have recently adopted a vegan diet (mostly raw) in order to try to regain my health, but my doctor says it is too late. Please, pay attention to your poop! This is so important!

Hang in there Barb! Please don't be discouraged and keep eating raw vegan. Do some research on a plant based diet and cures. Read books like "The China Study, 3Steps to Incredible Health, The Gerson Therapy". And most of all...pray. Never give in when there is always hope. Think positive and keep yourself happy by surrounding yourself with happy people. Surf the internet for more info. I will have you in my prayers. Love you!

I've not been in your position, but I have read a lot of encouraging books on the subject. One story I remember reading in 'Cleanse and Purify Yourself' was about a man who was given one week to live and was still alive years later after deeply cleansing and taking good care. You might like to read that book - it's all about what comes out the other end and what doesn't if we don't do something about it.

I would also recomend seeing a naturopath who has a good reputation and works with cancer and related illness, I went through a slew of Dr's before I found the right MD ND, good luck to you! -on a side note medical journals have shown reversals of some cancers by vegan raw diets, so keep trying to give your body what it needs and trust your bodies ability to heal.♥

I think this may be my favorite video from you of all time!! About 2 years ago I started trying to get serious with my digestion after having some issues.. they were not nearly as bad as I realize most of the general population is, but still. I wasn't perfect. I've been eating at least one fully raw meal a day for at least 1.5 years now with tons of raw fruits and veggies throughout the day along with water and exercise usually in the form of running (along with cutting out meat entirely, strictly limiting dairy, and avoiding gluten whenever possible (luckily I am not incredibly fond of gluten containing products anyway)) and my poo has never been better! I now go daily without any straining or effort, and the odor has improved tremendously. I no longer fear someone walking into the bathroom after I've gone, lol! I haven't managed to go after every single meal, but my at least once daily movement is large and floaty, and infinitely more satisfying than ever before! Unfortunately when I try and talk to my friends about my newfound bowel bliss, they usually get kind of uncomfortable. Oh well! I'll just keep on trying! Thanks SO much for bringing up this topic!!!

I am not raw but I have a diet that consists almost 98% vegan, still transitioning to fully vegan lifestyle. I poop nearly 6-7 times a day, before I started this transition I used to poop between 4-5 times per day so I've always had an amazing digestive system, but this vegan change has definitely changed my odor and quantity, I totally love it!

My poor 4 year old niece is quite fequently constipated :( I try my best to feed her lots of fruit and veges but she must be very backed up because she had lost her appetite, isn't growing as fast and most of the time not so energetic. Parents, babysitters and grandparents need to keep an eye on little ones stools because it really does affect their overall health and since they are so small they don't really understand what to say or do.

This makes me want to try going fully raw for a bit. I am chronically constipated and going vegetarian didn't fix it. Apparently I have slow bowel syndrome. (My intestines literally do not move like they should) My doc gave me Linzess which worked SO well but I don't want to rely on meds so I'm off it now. I think I will try this for a bit!

Thats awesome! If you wanna go fully raw maybe a vegan high carb diet to start would be better, maybe Raw till 4 could help you transition cause its a big change for your body if you don't eat most of your meals raw already...Going fully raw after that would be a lot easier and smoother for your body. Good luck! ♥

Madison Bogart, I hope you do try fully raw or just fully plant based diet so you are regular without medications. I eat a lot of raw meals, but not fully raw. I do eat cooked beans, boiled potatoes plane, and cooked squash's. Like you, I had a can't poop problem as well, went vegetarian when I left my parents home at 17 and never looked back, feel better now than I did as a kid where I ate what I was told to eat, and thought it was "normal" to eat there way. I've learned a lot since then and I hope if you give vegetarian eating a chance, you will feel so amazing you will stick with it for so many reasons.

since I started fully raw diet almost 8 months ago Kristina, I have been going to the bathroom everyday more frequentley. I have been juicing every day in the morning for the past 4 months. And sometimes my poop is more liquidy. Is it because I juice everyday?? The first thing I drink when I wake up is 1- 2 liters of lemon water. and wait 30-45 min before I have a juice. i do juice A LOT of carrots, lemons, beets, celery, apples, spinach, and ginger. My poop is never too hard. I drink 2-4 liters of water everyday! so I know I stay hydrated. Why is my poop sometimes real liquidy?? Always happens right after drinking a large 34 oz juice.
@1sikteg
@1sikteg 8 жыл бұрын
+Amber Kaufman cellulose from the juice will sometimes cause you to be runny, this is normal. Space out your juicing and dont slam it all in one sitting. IMO 1-2L or water right when you wake up is way too much, try and space out your liquids.

I really appreciate how kind you are and considerate about the different levels that people are on the road to eating healthy. There are a lot of vegan gurus that make their viewers feel guilty for where they are, but you show that you care about the health of your viewers and give recommendations to baby steps for beginners. What really helped me start eating better was knowing that I can eat as much of my favorite fruits as I want, which makes it feel like less of a sacrifice to eat better. Thank you. I am also Hispanic and am dealing with not giving in to the tempting cultural foods as much, so my next step is to find great alternatives to still get that Latino flavor, but make healthier versions :)

LostChildOfTime, bears make blue poop when the wild berries are in full fruit and Beets will help you have pink poop. Better hit the farmers market to buy in bulk or go do some berry picking so you can fulfill your desire for blue and red poop.

Years worth? I'm not sure about that.

Yeah years sounds completely implausible and you'd have to be really messed up for even just weeks worth of backup- I'm sure you'd be really sick or die from that. Longest I've ever noticed something stay in my system is 3 days but normally just 12 to 24 hours. I can't imagine things lingering longer than that!!

Yes stuff can stay behind and stick in your system for quite some time. That's why clean eating is so important.

Courtney McFarland Once a guy came to one of our cleanses and he hadn't been to the toilet in 2 years. Believe it! He had a growth coming out of his groin that looked like an elephants trunk. As he began cleansing including diet, steam baths, massage and walks along with lots of lemon water and raw food (after a good fast to allow his system to cleanse itself) it began to wash away until he was so grateful he stayed and worked there for free for years. believe it, people do have blockages for years and it begins to show in other diseases that most medical dr's have no expertise in understanding. In all a MD's studies, of 4-6 years, 4 weeks are dedicated to Nutrition and the Body. Isn't that amazing, and yet we trust ourselves and our lives to those who don't recognise that food makes blood that feeds our organs and is the life of the body. Our cells cannot be made up well without proper nutrition and cells make our organs. Our body is designed to keep us alive. At all costs. Rubbish is taken and dumped to keep our ph alkaline. The dumping ground becomes our inner tip. Eventually that dumping ground that was silently saving us, becomes overloaded by the rubbish we eat, thinking all is well, and we find out we have cancer. We would have had it a lot sooner, but our wonderful body and the system designer by the creator keeps us going despite the damage we do, until, its just too late. So take the challenge and change now.

The most informational video on fudgies I ever came across! YEARS of fecal toxin build up?! Sheesh! Now I understand why my detox was so tragic when I went HCLF! I've been eating crap since birth, and only within the last year did I realize that you were supposed to make a fudgie at LEAST once a day. Prior to, I would literally go every 4 or 5 days.
