Styracosaurus | Blender 3D Sculpting Timelapse

This is a long one, but I wanted to show just how much time it takes to make a model like this. I only managed to record about 3 hours of work, which is probably a good thing, or this video would have been much longer and even more boring. I hope it's at least a little bit entertaining, though, and helpful to some. 😅 I had a lot of fun figuring out more realistic Subsurface Scattering for the skin and mouth, and I really like the results. I'm sure I'll be using that a lot more with current and future models.

Thank you! I don't know the exact number, but I think it's been around 5 years since I started using Blender.

Great video! I love seeing how other people approach their models 😊 What kind of set-up did you do for the eyes? I see you are using the node editor. Was it an add-on purchased?

Thank you! I actually made the eye texture procedurally, and then saved the texture as image files, which I then used with the nodes in the video.
