Ok for the common questions: Yes I know our local grocery store is more expensive than Walmart. But it is close and is our local store, in our local town. Thomas works there, and the store has over $3,000 in store credit there for us right now -we support them all we can. The name of the game we were playing is called Tsuro. It supports our whole family, plays in 20 minutes and is one of our favorites. Yes our dog Knuckles is 14 years old, is blind and deaf and possibly got a little dementia and a severe skin allergy, I don't think he will last too much longer, but as long as he isn't in pain, he is our family and we won't put him down until we have to. We have been to the vet multiple times, they prescribed the medicine after all. Asher is sad sometimes and not other times. His grief thus far has been healthy. We play video games together in the evenings and it helps us take both of our minds off of things. He is actually doing quite well.

As to the size of your family's house, a large house often means that family members have a space to go off and away from the rest of the family to pout and feed the fuel of anger and separation, where as in a small house, people learn to forgive and move on, or even overlook and ignore grievances. I know this because I had to live in a motel room with my two daughters when our apartment was being renovated. We got along so much better when we lived in the space the size of your kitchen than we did when we lived in a full two bedroom apartment. You and Andrea made the right decision in buying your home, and raising your family there, and having every child you have. Each one is an absolute blessing to your family, your community, and one day to our heavenly community! Prayers as always, every day, for your family, to be comforted, encouraged, to find joy, and to be blessed!

I think about Andrea all the time and my heart breaks 💔 I have been watching all of her videos and it’s very sad knowing she’s no longer here with her family 😢 she was such a loving mom and wife and had a big kind heart ♥️ I pray that God helps all of you get through this dark time in your life’s 🙏🏼 I know Andrea is looking down at her family and she’s very proud that her family is still continuing just like she was there ..... Thanks for sharing Tom I know it’s not easy being a dad & mom but your doing a great job Andrea would be so proud of you ♥️ her family was her whole life anyone watching her videos could tell that.... I hope anyone watching these videos will have only kind words to say and if they don’t they need to keep it to themselves because words can hurt and this family doesn’t deserve anymore hurt in their life’s ♥️

Little kids can be odd in how they process grief or pain. Seeming to understand one day and then not another, serious one minute and playing the next... I think they just grieve in their own way?

Here’s an idea... when I lost my parents I kept a note of memories and how I was feeling in a journal. How about having some memory jars and slips of paper or cut out hearts on which the children can write their happy memories, special moments they remember or their feelings or thoughts and pop them in the jars. I’ve used Mason jars and decorated them before for uses such as this.

I've been binge watching the vlogs. I became a subscriber after Andrea passed, when Jamerell made a video and mentioned Andreas passing. I wish I was a viewer when Andrea was still here. I love your family and I weirdly feel close to you all. I dont have a big family, I'm not religious, I don't home school my son but still I feel so close to you all. Andrea felt like home. I see her and I have an instant comfort in my heart. I wish you would monitize the videos, i can't help out with money but I sure can help out with views and likes! Like I said I'm not religous but you and your family have been in my thoughts everyday. My Mom passed away 6 years ago when I was 23 in a very similar way to Andreas passing. I am comforted knowing they're out of pain, and there's a reason for everything happening and this, even how unfortunate and sad it is, it was just meant to be. Much love to you, Tom and to all of those beautiful children!

God is, indeed, in charge. I've always wondered how anyone can deal with such a devastating loss without faith. When we lost our son, our faith was our relief. Keeping you and your precious family lifted in prayer.

Same when I lost my daughter. People asked how are you doing this all. I always said Jesus is my comfort and guide without him I'd truly be lost and probably not even here since it would've been a burden too great to bear.

I'm so sorry about Andrea having inflammatory breast cancer. The beautiful video she gave last spring about her mom passing away, tells me that she kind of knew something, that the Holy Spirit was preparing her and us and providing a video to comfort her family. Just to validate you, I had a dear friend die of IBC at the age of 36. She was a talk skinny woman who did not over indulge in anything, and she never smoked, drank, or even drank coffee. I walked along side her during her journey. She tried all of the natural ways to try and turn the train around, but it didn't. A year later another friend of mine died in her 50's of IBC as well. It took me years to overcome the grief. You will be in my prayers.

Tom, you are so brilliant and a true warrior!! Your kids are benefiting from you being there and it’s so smart to shop close. The people who are hurtful and cruel never will stop...so you keep on being the best daddy that you can. My mom was murdered when I was 5 and I know how you and the kids feel at times. It’s going to be a roller coaster, but most days will be filled with sunshine and laughter and happy tears. I’m going to be 39 and I just always know my mom is with me and Andrea oh how she is with you with a lovely smile and her cute laugh. So proud of your kids being there for one another too, and it’s amazing that your family has stepped up even more. Your mom is the best Grandma.

Do you remember much of your mother?
@MirandaJones805 жыл бұрын
I remember so much...I grew up in So California, and in those short years with my “mommy” We did a lot....the one thing I don’t remember is her voice. It’s not as rough for your youngest kiddos as it will be for the older kids. Being so young and mommy being gone the younger kids can easily pick up and keep living easier. My twin and I always had questions and we had to go to therapy (because my moms death was tragic) back in ‘86, but we still were so outgoing and positive our mom was in Heaven. The hard part is the pain never will come and go, but you Tom need to live for her and remember to sleep- it’s sometime I worry about for you. Sleep is going to help you heal your heart and keep being the best you. I’m no expert, but at 39 know what it was to grow up without my mom or my dad (my Grandma raised us). The teen year will be tricky for you more then normal. You got this tho, and Andrea is always there to talk too(that will help you too) 😊 Hope this makes sense...most people are good and mean well...

I meant I worry about you not getting sleep...it’s silly maybe, but your health is even more important now. I agree with your diet and exercise ideas...it’s all moderation is what I take from your words. You are wise beyond your age lol
