I wonder if this song will go the same direction EGOISM 440 did. That song has an Expert chart that was introduced as a grossly misrated 17, got a Challenge 19 a few weeks later, and had said Expert chart bumped up by one level. Fast forward 9 years later, and we have this song and chart, which is absolutely hellish for a 17 and a strong candidate for a re-rate. And then just like that, BAM! Challenge 19 a few weeks later.

i finally got to play this. great song and everything flows well, but man did i underestimate it. it kicked my ass pretty hard, both singles and double. this one sits at the top as the strongest 17 for me. absolutely brutal!!!

It has more gimmicks than Pluto the First, it has more bpm difference than DeltaMax, it has more streaming than Pluto Relinqish, it has more AIR than ZETA. This is note a 17, it's like a 18.05

It's a score formula in some ddr pages, they take player score divided by player entries, that's how they order different comparisons in the same difficult number, for example Poochie is 16.99 but it has the same results than a 17.00 like Digitalizer, or Pluto The First has 17.99 because it's a 17 but with 18 score results like Max360 esp

オバピリ激よりは踏みやすいから17とか思ってそう 実際は中盤の同時交じりとかサビ前の同時配置とかが逸脱してるから全然17してない そこに多すぎるソフランが絡むんだから17な訳がない、余裕で17最強格だし何なら18でもいい これ18で鬼19にしてもいいから今から難易度変更してくれ

特にA20＋〜A3辺りで足１６が詐称か逆詐称の両極端になりがちで、足１７はユークンダを筆頭に詐称譜面が軒並み多すぎる。

My guess is because 17 is the upper limit of difficulty allowed during BPL regular stage matches, so they want to make sure the theme song could possibly be used at some point. It's probably gonna get re-rated to an 18 in the next version. (It looks like 18s are allowed in the post season matches now)

Once you learn the gimmicks seems a mid-high 17, the patterns are not hard enough to compete with 18s like IX for example

By "18s like IX", you're referring to the Challenge chart, right? Yeahhhh... because that is a very hard 18. Even if this chart had no gimmicks at all, it has too much running with twists to be comparable to any other 17 at 180 or 360 BPM.
