These are a lot of fun to watch, plus there is a ton of great info! I've actually been on a good silent squarebill bite lately. The heavy pressure on my waters makes those bass line shy and rattle shy so I'm going more stealthy and it's really working!

How I did this before electronics, I would stop at these locations make cast with moving baits such as crankbaits or swimbaits.. 3 to 5 cast. If I would not get any bites, then throw a slower moving bait like a big worm or jig for 3 to five cast. But even with electronics, you may know they are there ... you see them and then they do not eat... actually hurts you as an angler at times. This is because you stay and try to get them to bite where before you pick up the trolling motor and go to the next spot. Thanks for asking - Jimi
