Something a Snap developer had said is that sometimes the key isn't mechanics but content. Sounds like that was the case here! Thanks for the analysis and review, this sounds like the perfect icebreaker game!

So Clover is our favorite! It's one of the few games that has really clicked with my mom! So much so that she now takes her own copy to play 2p with my dad on vacations. 🤗

The designer (me) did not do it alone. Repos (the publisher) did a great job of coming up with - and especially testing and testing and testing - the questions.

This made me think of Green Team Wins because one of the types of questions is fill in the blank (people are trying to write the most popular answer rather than "correct") which can showcase people's proclivities i.e. some of my family members are religious and wrote in the "David blank" answer "David and Goliath."

As someone who writes for a living I love the recognition of well written content in a game. As game geeks all love interesting and complex systems - but sometimes the content snd execution of those systems is the difference between a good game and s bad game. The problem is that you can't tell by reading the back of the box if these games are any good. My family probably owns 10 'judge picks the funniest' style gsmes but there is only a few that have content that is guaranteed they are pulled out again and again.

Speaking of simple but fun games… Have you done one of these, “My Favourite Mechanism in” vid on, Escape front the Cursed Temple? Would love to see you talk about that. I found the mechanisms super simple, but the execution is sooooo much fun! 💙🙃
