Fun February Ride with Calvin, Springfield, Missouri, Honda GL 1800

I liked those 40th Anniversary Wings when they came out. It was April of ‘16 when I decided my ‘09 ST1300 was too top heavy for my 70 year old legs and start looking for one. Tommy’s Motorsports in Crossville, TN had one. I don’t think they liked taking an ST in as trade but they gave me a little for it. It’s been smooth sailing since then. This is likely my last bike.

Nice ride. I finally took mine out on Saturday. Of course I live in Michigan. I know the feeling. And I love both those wings. Glad you noticed his tail light issues. We need all the light we can get.

I live up in Sedalia went down 135 to the lake and back up 52 - 65, 2hrs 99.5 miles👍

That's a good ride. My boy Calvin in the video lives in Knob and I used to live in Warrensburg. Did many rides out that way. There's a Polar Bear ride group that does lunch rides over the cold months. Here's their Facebook page with the schedule. Just watched your channel and realized you are in Springfield, I live in Mount Vernon, would love to meet up with you and Calvin and do some riding or meet up for lunch sometime and get to know you guys. I grew up around there. I left for the military when I graduated high school. Wished I could have ridden a proper motorcycle on those back roads. The area looks asleep now from what I remember. Nice video. Thank you.
