Fun Morning of Fishing & Outdoor Activity for Victory Gallop Families

Today our nonprofit organization ‪@CastItForwardFishing‬ hosted families from the Victory Gallop organization of Akron, Ohio.
Victory Gallop is a nonprofit organization that "provides therapeutic and recreational horseback riding for children with behavioral and / or emotional challenges and life-threatening illnesses".
We introduced these families of aspiring anglers to the basics of casting along with the proper handling and releasing of fish. We also discussed the importance of respecting our outdoors and leaving our areas better than how we found them.
After a delicious cookout lunch, we provided each new angler their very own fishing rod / reel combo, stocked tackle box, fishing hat, fishing shirt, and "how to" fishing book.
We are thankful for spending time with this this fun group from the Victory Gallop organization and look forward to sharing time with them again soon.
