I miss having a cat. My last one was a large fluffy black cat named Django. He was fearless, curious and very gregarious. He liked walks and I could just cuddle with him after a long day of work. I adopted him shortly after fostering him since no one seemed to want him. He passed last year at the end of August. I miss you my guy. RIP

I've never held any superstitions about black cats but one day a black cat crossed my path out of nowhere in the parking lot at the grocery store. I thought.....what the hell is a cat doing out here? Didn't think much else about it. Did my grocery shopping and on a whim, decided to play Fantasy 5 lottery. I've never had any luck playing lotto or any type of probability games but was delighted when the winning numbers were drawn and I'd won some money! Should have grabbed that black cat and took it home.

Used to have a black cat named Bob (because he had a bobbed tail) and he would follow me on my hikes through the woods much like a dog. And was the mouthiest cat you ever did hear.

Honestly that kinda breaks my heart that people were and are willing to kill innocent animals just because of what they saw as different or not by their standards. I'm wiccan so I believe in familiars and cats honestly don't deserve that treatment. They can be sweet and cuddly

Have you had any luck keeping them from spraying? Trying to introduce a large teaser tom to my 2 little molly girls. One girl hates him and challenges him and he beats on the other little girl.

@@DarkLadyJade Lucky you. After commenting to you, I went looking for sprays and found 2 on my closet doors. I got Ginger Nut, put his face in the spray spot, firmly told him no and took him outside for the rest of the night. I spayed my mollys when they were 5 mo and Ginger Nut has a clipped ear. I live out in rural USA and he showed up on my property 3 mo ago. He is so gentle, loving and well mannered to us humans. He obviously belonged to a family. Somewhere along his life, he was neutered, hence the clipped ear. I really really like him, so do the granddaughters and my husband tolerates him (he's not a cat person and spends most of his time in his man cave). I'm not sure what to do about the spraying. I don't want to leave him to the elements.
