Ytboi Western Yes, the sudden spike in vocal editing towards the end of the song was a very interesting creative choice, almost as if reminding us that despite the less-then-contemporary instrumentals and content of the music video, this song was nevertheless made in modern times. 6 of us from my choir were chosen to sing this in a competition years ago. They chose us cause apparently we had ‘powerful’ voices to match the high energy of the song. And still to this day, it’s one of my favourite songs I’ve ever performed and gives me such nostalgia to happier times. Oh and we won the competition :)
