Fun turns to disaster in the Sahara Desert

Well that took a pretty dangerous turn!
We have finally arrived in Merzouga, a town in the Sahara desert. After setting up base in a wonderful campsite, with one of the most beautiful (and gratefully received) pool we've ever seen, Steve and the boys go in search of some desert fun which quickly turns in to disaster. Join us this week, as the temperature rises even higher and we explore many new aspects of Moroccan and Berber life!

Love Haven Le Chance - we stayed there in our MH last January. Chose a spot right on the edge of the dunes and stayed put for 6days . Even then in January there were only about 20 vans in total , still lots of space . We visited Sahara Time restaurant which was just brill, lots of soft seats and low tables outside very beautiful and the food was top notch .
