If you're referring to the one in the man's hand, that's a philodendron fruit, I only ever saw it on Madeira. It has a scaly skin, don't eat the interior until the scales fall off on their own, or you'll have major stomach issues!

@@LivingWalks Thank you..yes me being a seaman for 23 yrs had the opportunity to come to Madeira over a hundred times in the 23 yrs. Strangely when I started working on cruise lines, my first port of call was the stunning Madeira and when I finished with sea life, my last port of call was Madeira in 2018. So strange. Yes please upload some more footage. Never tired of this awesome place.

0:40 This is where you can buy the tastiest bananas in all of Europe. Bought some, I even think it was this guy I bought them from because he looks very familiar to me. I promise you, they are NOTHING like the Cavendish bananas from your local supermarket!
