Looks great, just a couple of ideas to consider; 1. A half height to the small box would likely be a popular box. 2. A fold down attachment on the side or back for the jetboil ect for those breaks where you don’t want to pull everything apart. 3. Easy connect power for recharging devices that you don’t keep up front when riding (tablet, cam batt’s, drone) It’s awesome to get the opportunity to give ideas during development 👍

haha yeah man a little fold down table at the back where the lock is would be epic. Perhaps with a couple of holes for cup holders. bikes not exactly level all the time. Just right for two coffees/beers and a sandwich

i feel like 2 of your concerns are addressed by the molly system. just attach anything to it . all solved feels like they ahve already done waht we all really wanted.

A lot of riders do most of their riding solo. It would be nice if there was a way to have an extension mounting plate of some kind that you could hook into the existing plate holes and then a pad sitting on the back seat area, so then you could have the box mounted more forward. Not quite all the way up to the rider, but maybe 2/3 of the way over the passenger seat so that all that weight and bulk was not SO far back on the bike, but a little more centrally located.

When factoring in helmet size... please include external comm systems like the Sena 50S... which adds an inch or so to the helmet. Otherwise this looks great!

I have a 52L Nonfango top box and it helped 2 helmets easily before communication systems were fitted. The curved back rest on my top box is essential for my wife to endure long days.

I think they are a very good alternative to conventional top cases with both sizes is perfect, the detail of the molle panel is very good, it gives it more load capacity. Awesome

I would love to have the larger one,,, but wondering if you could create a mount bracketing to use it longways - where it straddles the rear pillion (I rarely carry passengers) ??? and if you could use/adapter a standard Givi Mount so we don't have to change our plattens.

I agree with @wfpbaussie3264 A small foldable shelf for ex. jetboil, multifuel systems would be a gift! Usually i take my topbox off and use either the lit of the box or the mountingplate on the bike as i small coffee table. And i've already drilled a hole in one of my sidebags for routing power for charging gear with a smalle plug outside i can hide under the seat when not in use, so i have a total of 4xUSB chargers. 2 at the tankbag and 2 at back. Great for charging small stuff in the tankbag, and bigger in the back like powerbanks, dronegear, lamps and general heavier stuff you only use while camped

The single lock is my only concern when it comes to securing the box to the plate. Locking on both sides would give better piece of mind. Also adding rubber feet to the bottom of the box to prevent rattling/buzzing might also be something to look into if you haven’t done so already. That said, the box looks great! I’ll definitely be ordering the small version once pre-orders start.

Hi ,thanks for the video. I have a safety concern you might want take into consideration. When you put on the top box and slide it back, the single latch on the right side is the only thing preventing the top box from sliding forward and come loose in a sudden stop situation. Rear ending etc… Would it be safer if it was mounted sliding forward into a locked position, making all four mounting points a “combined lock” in such situations. I mean the whole mounting plate would have to come of then, regardless of how strong the latch is. Just a thought, you’re the pro 😊🇳🇴

Looks great! Idealling do you have a timeline of when the production unit will hit the market for re-order or normal order? Also a few points of consider 1. Height of the top box might affect wind drag at 200km/hr ideally if it doesn't that will be the best. 2. Why 200km/hr is cause in Southeast Asia most of our roads are long highways for about 6-10hrs before we actually hit the off-roads, thus thats our average crusing speed. 3. Rust /dirt proofing the locking system, as it will take most of the mud and backsplash from the rear wheel you don't want that to get stuck once you reach your desination 4. Sizes comes in 63L and 46L, ideally most of the market here are using 58L and 42L. 63/46L will be ideal for most riders.

I am due to pick up my 1250 GSA in a weeks time and I have been toying with which luggage to buy, I have settled on the Lone Rider panniers and was going to buy the Givi Outlander top box, but this has now left me with a dilemma! If it’s likely that they will be available by August this year, when I go on a trip through Europe, I will probably pre order instead! A friend of mine highly recommends your kit, so it should be worth the wait! 👍

You should look a Greyman tactical to have rigid Mille panels for your hard bags. By adding these to the bags you add a whole array of pouches and bag customization. I want to put them in the lids of my boxes for flashlights first aid kits etc.

Just make the sides like an expandable zipper portion in order to achieve a 2 helmet space, otherwise just keep it a single helmet model. Waterproof zippers of course. I can help test.

Looks great, a few questions. If you are using the large box and OEM BMW Hard panniers, will they open fully without hitting the top box? The lock to close and secure the box, in the unlocked position can you remove the key? Meaning can I leave it unlocked without the key being left in the lock? The Molle system looks metal, do you foresee any concerns with the wear on the accessory bag straps? Metal of the Mille rack versus the thin fabric straps?

Really like the concept of this design. I have a 2023 Tiger 1200 Rally Explorer and have installed the motobags and motopegs both great products!! I Am hoping you keep Triumph in mind for your mounting plate. In regards to the back rest for the pillion.... I noticed in your video that you are taking the time to insure the comfort level of the back rest is good but please make sure the mounting plate is far enough back so the pillion is not crowding to far forward. When can we anticipate pre-ordering to happen?

So it looks really good - congrats on the success. Got a couple of questions. Will that attachment plate work with different racks - I assume so as my existing box which I want to replace with your box, I had to purchase their rack because my OEM rack didn't fit their attachment points. I would like to keep that rack and just use your attachment plate with it. Also, I'm interested in mounting extra fuel containers - actually one fuel, one fresh water on either side of the top case. I may have to sandwich between the molie and the case material a standoff plate so that the mounting bolts go from inside the top case to the outside plate of the fuel holder. I'm planning on using the RotoPax holders with their mounting system as it has a lock built into the mount. So what is the case going to be made from - aluminum I assume? It would need to be aluminum to give structural support to allow for a RotoPax to be installed. I would provide a backing plate on both sides to strengthen the mounting and to spread the stress point load across the inside of the box.

I bought an Overlander as a stop gap solution. While I‘m very happy with the quality, I would still be open to a topcase as a more permanent solution. I just hope you won‘t focus on the GS only as often seems to be the case (sorry, bad pun).
