one of the reasons why duel masters probably forever had been my fav since 2005 is bcuz i feel they nailed this pretty darn well, fire was all about aggro and rushing through power water was all about control, manipulation, scrying, crazy bouncing and draws darkness was all about trashing your own weaker cards to trash opponents cards that were stronger and vice versa( the theme also very strong dispite its weird alternative abstract art) light or yellow was all about blocking and defending through triggers, healing cards, finally forest was all about increased momentum or acceleration over time to overwhelm u like like a flood or a jungle to surround u by being patient and slowly walking towards the endgame like a tank moving forward

im all about control blue (water) for the midrange- late game... defending, blocking, counter,drawing, bouncing cards, deck manipulation,but not so much scrying...😅😊

A person fitting their deck seems to run deepest in One Piece. I’ve played almost every tcg over last 20 years that had a competitive scene and OP is truly one of the best I’ve played. Love the game

Thank you for this! One piece is my first tcg. All the other tcg have been out for 20+ years and are way too intimidating. I don’t even know the basics of deck building. Like, is there a limit on how many blocks you can have? How many event cards can you have? Are there any limits? I’m a complete noob to all this.

A lot of deck building just comes down to not just building and tuning a list but playing the game to get the flow of it.
