mobs that don’t have real life equivalents, like the iron golem, are of course going to look good because there’s nothing else that they’re trying to be. there’s no awkward middle ground. swords kinda have to look that way if you want them to look semi-realistic. real life swords are often no wider than your forearm. i do agree with the point that piglin swords should be bigger to fit them

Fundy if the villagers wear clothes similar to snow villagers that does not mean its a mistake or they moved around in the lore. Its just wanting to make all villagers look unique to make them more realistic and not boring so they took villager desing form multiple villager types. Why make the villagers 20% more accurate to the game if they look more boring that way, all having one of 15 different outfits

8:28 My guess is that Steve is using an invisibility potion here. This would explain the dog moving freely and clearly there's some kind of potion in Steve's stash. Also, if the piglins and other nether creatures are the antagonists, as the trailers seem to imply, then Steve "infiltrating" their base using an invisibility potion would make sense and create a fun, potentially tension filled, scene for the movie.

Me personally the trailer was far better and actually got me interested in giving the movie a chance. The first trailer really made me disappointed and upset not just about the movie but also with Hollywood in general. My only problem with the movie is that the dialogue sounds pretty blech and the, “well that just happened!” And “WOOOAAAAHHHHH THATS CRRRAZZZZYYY” style of humor. I hope they lean more into the game based humor like with the chicken getting burned. Here’s hoping they can pull a Sonic movie and surprise all of us.
