When I was at UCLA 25 years ago, this place was called Xiao Mei's. There was a mexican guy there that had been working there so long he spoke chinese and took orders in chinese. We used to go there every week with our regular asian crew for Boba Tea, Chinese shaved ice and pork chop rice! It was the Ultimate UCLA Asian Hangout!

Love the energy in this video, the editing compounds the groups hilarity wonderfully. Great content!
Orange chicken is an authentic dish from Hunan but the American variation is quite different. Jingdong meat pies are actually called 'Jing dong xian bing' (京东馅饼) in Chinese. They originated in Inner Mongolia and later spread to the Dachang Hui Autonomous County of Hebei where it was adopted by Hui Muslims. The location of this county is east of Beijing or 'Jing dong' which is where the dish gets its name.

This type of food courts are so common, day-to-day, average, ordinary, basic....across China. Mostly offer affordable and fast meals to working class people. Don't believe anybody has the passion to took selfie or TikTok/video there. Feel a bit interesting/amazed how this could make American born Chinese bros soooo excited.
