Hey David Hey Andrew 🤗 Just wanted to add my 2 cents in You wonder do the customers that Patronize these places or are regulars at these unique china town Jewels even know what there eating Or even care ? You gotta remember this is not cali This is New York the MECCA and true melting pot of the world period. Every culture and nationality in 1 condensed BEAUTIFUL Metropolis Of The World This is ... NEW YORK CITY MY HOME TOWN FROM BIRTH. most of us born here are a cultured motley crew😜 But nah for real I'm A Half Guyanese And Portuguese African american Woman living in this city and I'm but an example of the make up of most people who were born and raised here Were just a melting pot of countries and cultures made into 1 most people here have at least 2 to 3 different Mixtures of ethnicities and cultures within there make up an being . most people not only know were they are and what there eating but specifically seek out such Restaurants and if they have never tried the cuisine before it doesnt matter . were always willing to try others nationalities dishes and adopt it take it home care for and love these cultures and recipes. theres damn near Every if not every nationality of people Residing in nyc and you can find more than a handful of restaurant serving and selling those country's national dishes I remember being as young as maybe 8 or 9 maybe even younger Coming into the city from Brooklyn me my little sister joy and our ❤ parents having late night dinner Were talking way after midnight damn near FEASTS in china town and these restaurants were filled with mass amounts of people before we even stepped in the place . exquisite red table cloth fine dining with all the Gold trimmings and Dragons and the PEOPLE 😍 Honestly New York was a diffrent world back then It was tradition But these traditions still exist And I hope always will . And it's been this way forever for the most it's just 1 of the reasons why I love my city Because its soo Fucking unique and gorgeously Diverse Loving these late night nyc china town food crawls Everything L😋🤤KS Amazing I'm Taking Notes And Restaurant Names keep up the GOODS Guy's 👍

It's always difficult to find authentic Chinese food. Instead of a dish that thats been westernized and saying it's Chinese food
@t.h.17842 жыл бұрын
American Chinese food is a gastronomy of its own, can’t disc it. Its nostalgic and its part of old Chinese immigrants history in N. America.
@t.h.17842 жыл бұрын
Western can’t handle it if the food is too authentic that’s why Americanized Chinese was invented. I was in China and couldn’t handle the authentic chili 🌶 level.
