Completely agree with what's mention like aging process (Asians don't raisin), hairless chest, and Asian maritial arts and humor. And the shoes in the house thing, that's one of the reasons how fleas and bedbugs migrate into the house especially on carpet. There are certain foods unknown to the masses that only the older gen of Asians passed down to the younger gen. My example would be salt and pepper spare ribs. It sounds simple but when done right with slices of jalapenos and eaten at the restaurant fresh out of the frier like fried chicken, they're really good. The community: Besides restaurants and shops; Asian supermarkets. They sell exotic ingredients and fruits that I will NOT find at my local supermarkets. Example: mangoes. There are many types of delicious mangoes around the world that people are missing out on or would have to travel there just to try them. Their prices are also pretty cheap because they are direct from farmers, not through middle-man corporate.

Some interesting points. I would agree with the point on religion. It appears that on average, Asian cultures are quite secular and allow for freedom of religion. I'm so tired of hearing mainstream western media say cultural foods are unhealthy, when they only know of Americanized versions. The shoe thing, in Northern California we all tried it after high school when we got our own places. The struggle of rushing to work, getting to the car, realizing you forgot something then running back in the house taking back off the shoes, getting what you need then putting then back on the shoes, then when it happens so often, I started wanting to give up.
@0paii Жыл бұрын
Just like how we remove clothes before taking a shower or use toilet paper after doing number 2, taking shoes off before entering the house is a habit and culture we Asians have nurtured since we grew up. Therefore, I can imagine it can be quite difficult to get accustomed to without using your willpower. Practice makes a habit. Knowing why you want to do it rather than just doing so will result consistency if you want to take that route again.

That housing thing gets me. Americans emphasize living on your own and will look down on you if you don't but in the same breath complain about not having enough money to invest or not being able to save money and living pay check to pay check when a lot of them didn't have to move out of their parents place and could have stayed and saved money to buy their own place eventually. They also look down on you for taking care of your parents which is why I don't see myself ever marrying a white or black American woman, I'm definitely sticking to Asian they understand that bit more.
