@@yarkieee but also depends on how many classes u're taking..... like if each class takes >10, and there's 6 classes, and you have like 20 hours of extracurricular commitments, going to parties won't be super realistic....

@@wendyzhang3190 go to the parties. Engineering major here that also works, excuses aside at the end of the day you'll always make time for what you care about, and you have to care about having fun if you don't want to regret college. it's so much more than the degree.

Freshman regret: Going in thinking you have your future career figured out, choosing a major that fits it, then discovering that isn't what you want to do at all. Then you change your major and find out that all the previous classes will now serve you for nothing. Seriously, changing majors is toxic. My Freshman year just pretty much turned out to be useless because of this.

The tip about transferring to the right college could not be more correct! Make sure you go to a good school you like and if you are a senior in high school watching this make sure you go to a large school with a good reputation because the reputation of the school does matter and having the school be large means you'll have a better chance of finding people you will get along with. Hence my two cents.

I'm a junior in High School watching this haha. The first semester grades coming out in about 2 weeks. And I can change so much if I finish more missing assignments. This video oddly helped me want to do better. My grades are average some average and some honors classes. Anyways I am kinda worried for college which is good but I need to focus on 11th grade. Haha. Last one screams me so much. The saddest thing is that my parents don't approve me chasing another major. :'D It kinda starts to work out and I actually like the lessons after entering the 3rd semester, but _holy _*_**_* my first 2 semesters was me being stressful since all the classes were _nothing even remotely related_ to subjects I was good at back in high school. At least in this semester calculations are back. God how much I missed numbers. It feels soooo good to see them again.

For educational purposes you need money to buy your books, pencils, pens, papers, dress clothes depending if you have to do a public speech in front of a class, and an iclicker (depending if your college uses this like mine). For living in dorms, you need slippers especially when you go to the showers, blankets that are for both the cold and dry seasons, a game console so you don't get board, a laptop, so you can type your essays, watch Netflix, KZbin, etc., and a printer, if you can afford it, so you don't need to pay $0.25 per paper when printing from the library (keep in mind if your printer needs wifi, there could be a problem since you are using the school wifi). Also if you don't have the money to buy all your books at once, go to your classes especially on the first week and see who gives out homework first so you know which textbook you need to buy first. Hopes this helps.
