Is it possible to get the reference you show on your presentation slides for the Yale plastic-eating mushroom study? Is it possible to get a copy of your entire slide presentation? It is so very helpful and informative.

Thank you Gary. That was nice. Just one thing. Growing mycelium are either monokaryotic or dikaryotic, not diploid. The only diploid cell is the basidium.

thanks for the correction and watching!

A diploid cell contains a nucleus with two sets of chromosomes. A dikaryotic cell contains two haploid nuclei.

So nice to see, Dr. Grand, that you also like what Gary is doing to innoculate the interrest for all kinds of muchrooms, they are all magical in my mind! Respect to both of you🥰

Around 40% of pin dry out when they reach match stick size, in all my block. Is it normal or is something wrong. Grow room temp is 15 to 20 degree C, and humidity 80 to 90%.

It could be genetics, It could also be when the humidity dips to the 80% range they are aborting. I usually keep mine in the 90s until the pins mature and gradually dial the humidity back as the fruits mature.
