When storing plates after pouring, or inoculating using spores, do you store them upside down? If so, explain the reasons why.

What temp is your fridge?
@zacharyswain70343 жыл бұрын
Aren't the piopinni and chestnuts cooler temp strains? Do you have diff temp tents or just one temp tent for all your strain s?
@FreshfromtheFarmFungi3 жыл бұрын
same temp for all the strains, I just choose to grow what mushrooms will handle the season (pinks and goldens in the peak summer, enoki and cooler weather in the cooler months etc.)
@zacharyswain54733 жыл бұрын
@@FreshfromtheFarmFungi so you cant grow chestnut and piopinni in spring summer? Or are there certain varieties that grow at higher temps? I want to grow those two strains but not sure when I can grow them

which mushroom strains do you not do LC for and just do grain spawn with? oysters?
@FreshfromtheFarmFungi3 жыл бұрын
All will do well in LC - I just start with plates so I know the slants were clean in storage

Love your content man! Have you had any experience with fruiting P.E. Psilocybin? I've heard it's very difficult to fruit. The process seems a little more advanced. Those that are successful do not share the knowledge. Just curious if you knew why it's so challenging and how to work around it. Thanks.

There are lots of Facebook groups that can help you with this issue - start there - success is not the reason people are hesitant to openly share their knowledge, it is more about ego ❤️🍄

do you store your slants with a specific type of wood and is there an antibiotic in there?
@FreshfromtheFarmFungi3 жыл бұрын
No and No, I see the reasons for using both but prefer to just switch up media (MEA, PDA, V9 etc.) to keep the mycelium healthy
