Needle biopsy for L.C …I think is the simplest method and a lesser risk for contamination if done right.

I’ve been growing for a few years now. I just took an oyster mushroom from the store and cloned to agar. Took me a few generations to clean up the samples. It’s sitting in grain spawn now. Let’s see what comes of it. Cheers.

Hi, I would like to ask you a question. Is it possible to clone truffle too the same technique by using truffle which is bought in vakuum packages and filled with cutted truffle? Because the most stronger truffle are all not in whole pieces, they are cutted. But I think about, if they are still vital, when taken a bit of it from the inner part of a truffle piece. What do you think?

Great and fun video, loved it! What do you think about senescence? Do you think it happens if you keep cloning the mushroom? How often do you recommend going back to spores?
@Fungiacademy2 жыл бұрын
Best thing to do to avoid senscence is make back up's of good cultures in slants or sterile distilled water!

I heard fine, but I do think the volume equalizers were off somehow; the sound effects were louder than his voice, and his voice in this video was lower in volume than in other videos from this channel.

Gratitude for your work. I'm trying to input diferent myceliums on my land, as diferent kinds of flora... My idea is to create a "micro-ecosystem"... Regarding mycelium, several question in my mind... Could a mycelium from an ancient Oak (for example), be able to pass "knowledge" to young oaks? Making them more "wise" in the way they grow and work? Another question would be, we know that at a forest system, there are decisions made for the best of the entire system. Who makes this decisions? One plant? Several? The mycelium? Diferent atempts of democracy? This was just to share some thoughts... Because i'm trying to propagate high quantities of mycelium, could cooked rice make the trick?

Awesome! (we can clone humans btw. but it's a sticky topic) better we keep it with mushrooms that clone themselves all the time anyway.

I came down looking for this comment!.... LOL yeah, we can clone humans, the issue is more on the ethical and legal part.
