Thank you very much, this is a very helpful format. I can't get enough of these videos. Please make more of them, it is very exciting to see how professionals deal with unknown songs and how they approach new bass lines.

I love seeing how you approach this song and loved the the final play through. I'd be happy to see more of these guys.

Muchas gracias! What a great lesson, thanks for the feedback from pros to create charts and the way you see the music. Wish you the best for this new year 2025 that just begins.

I'm glad Toby overplayed so I have more licks to figure out and try and incorporate into my own playing! Very nice job. I like the root displacement parts.

I just love seeing 2 true pro's at work. As a fan of, and country bass player, I'm always striving to get beyond the 1 / 5 playing.

I absolutely loved all of Toby's impromptu fills. Do we really always need to worry so much about whether or not we will get the gig? (I know the answer is YES!)

Interesting vid - a stroll through Toby's bass mind. I especially liked Toby's critique of his treatment of the song, after watching the vid about how to not irritate your band members. More of these please; it's fun to watch you two play together. If you two got to "cuttin' heads" I'm sure it would be brutal - fun brutal.

You can tell he is influenced by Motown and James Jamerson.
