16:00 to 17:06 is the reason you watch this entire video.. this man is amazing.. jamming and feeling it in the middle of a lesson from someone that isn't focused on the college and sales and actually stating "off track" just because he was feeling that jam haha.. man you are great. keep it up and trust me.. Wow these licks you showed take me back 25 years! Those were some of the first blues/funk licks I learned. Add a little trill to that hammer on for some flavor on that first little pattern and you're on! Brilliant lesson. Thank you!

Since using the Fender Medium pick and using the edge rather than the sharp end its really changed and improved my playing/ tone in my opinion, also its become my favourite pick size :)

I gained alot of ideas from this I found that little E 9 chord* 9 10 11 fret {kinda sus effect into E6} on the high strings works great w/E9 on the lower, real slick. man that kinda music/groove has got to stay relavant, it walks you right into jazz!
