16:00 to 17:06 is the reason you watch this entire video.. this man is amazing.. jamming and feeling it in the middle of a lesson from someone that isn't focused on the college and sales and actually stating "off track" just because he was feeling that jam haha.. man you are great. keep it up and trust me.. NOBODY minds your small jam sessions we love it because it helps people learn too by watching.

Hey, Brother. So glad to see you continue on the mend. Hallelujah on RHYTHM!!! More, please, in bite sized bits. For me, rhythm is the song, it's where we can tuck in and where I can actually have loads of fun playing with buddies over. Honestly, if I have something new there, they have more interest than if someone has a new lick. Solid gold also for looping pedal practice. Always looking for something new and sonically interesting to lay down and play over. Thanks so much for starting this!

So fun to watch. I love this style of playing. I know your lessons are geared towards Country electric guitar. Do you have suggestions for lessons on this type of funk, etc?

Great stuff man, the best rhythm players lace & tie in to the keyboard player, lead guitarist, while helping the drummer & bass player create that tight groove!!

12K subscribers for one of the best guitar players (and teachers) out there? I guess I have to believe it's only a matter of time. After all, Marty Schwartz has 1.4MM. Great stuff Guthrie, thanks for your time and insight!

Subbed. Thanks for these lessons. So much good info! This is my favorite stuff: the funk, soul, r&b, Steve cropper stax rhythms. Just awesome. You are really helping to expand my vocabulary on guitar!

Ok, this is not only increasing my fretboard knowledge I'm also having to get my strumming and picking to improve immensely in an attempt to try and keep up. Looks like I have hours of practice ahead of me from having watched this video. It's all good.
