Khalil's been the nail and he never comes back from it Neither guy has like a great chin. They both eat shots often, Alex is just really big and can frame away. He barely moves his head off the center. Khalil is very explosive and a southpaw and can blitz Alex off guard so I smell an upset, but it doesn't make him better technically.

I don't get how or why people think wrestling is a clear path to victory for a guy who officially has never shot a single takedown in the UFC. Khalil can't just change his stripes and start trying to wrestle and think it's going to be very effective. I mean, Alex trains with/under Glover, and that's probably leveled-up his wrestling and grappling game enough to nullify Khalil's undoubtedly unskilled wrestling. Jan was able to have some success because he wrestles and wasn't outputting damage. I just don't see that working for Khalil. Plus, his gas tank is not calibrated for wrestling... One or two shots get stuffed or sprawled or there are some scrambles and his cardio is going to be compromised. Just do what got you to the dance. Fight, but try to stay defensively aware better than he's known to... That's the kind of thing he can implement into his existing approach... Not panic-wrestling.
