Thanks so much for your approach to these sweet Bass lines. I'm from Sydney, Australia, aged 53yo and just starting Bass guitar. I do play other instruments and learnt the basic blues scale years ago. Tiring of sitting down to play my whole life drums/keyboards/piano I always yearned to play Bass. Now in my 6th generation, I thought better late than never! I bought a Fender 'Players Series' Precision through one of my keyboard amps, an Ampeg BA-112. I am having so much fun, especially after half a lifetime of playing drums! Thanks again, Travis, I really appreciate the work & effort that goes into these #TMT's. Your site just appeared when I requested 'bass blues scale', straight away I knew I'd found exactly what I was after. Stay well, all the best and kind regards from Australia.

My music teacher used to tell me "you can't play it until you can sing it back to me" You givin me huge smile and goosebumps from that memory almost 30 years ago. She was right, and I ended up playin bass in her blues band. I gonna learn your jam here and do it proudly... Can't wait to apply this to a nice progression or two. Walkin to the ONE really opens things up! Thanks Sir.

Some Tips if you want to learn the line: Go to 0:28 and set the video tempo to 0.75% speed! Just hover the cursor on 0:28 and when he finishes demonstrating, just click and jump back. When you can follow along good in 0.75%, set the speet to normal. If you can follow along in normal speed, get a 90bpm drumloop going and practice on your own.
