My initial anger was also with the fraudster on the phone who said they were about to kill his grandson if he did'nt hand over the money, they put that 81 year old in a state of fear in which he did what he did. A life is lost and the man will be sentenced to life in prison for the murder. Justice will be done but where do you incarcerate this man who has a foggy mind, possibly dementia? Tough one for them.

Sorry to say that I have not received a tax return check in many, many years. I am a 73 yr old black woman and my husband is 78 years old. We wrote a sizeable check to the IRS for 2023 taxes.
