I see you are appalled at Tim Dillon's bit pretending to be the lawyer of the pedo rapper. Dillon sometimes enjoys playing all types of scumbags in comedy podcasts, he obviously finds it funny, and he is very good at it (at least I personally think he makes it funny), but he is aware of the fact that the character he is playing is in fact a scumbag, that's the joke.

Jesus, Ash watching Tim Dillon was terribly setup by OB Dave, and almost a a slight against Dillon. Just the lack of understanding of a clear bit. Which was, How he would , if he were to be a sleazy defense lawyer, get Diddy the least possible sentence. The whole "he's gay so he gets way with it" Also is wrong. He may be gay, but he get's away with it because everything he says is overtly satirical. He's doing bits, he says the things you can't say while maintaining hilarity.

Relax it's out of context. A common bit on radio and podcasts is when someone does something heinous, you roleplay as their lawyer because it's funny to see someone struggle with such an uphill task of defending someone indefensible. But it's also literally their job as a defense attorney. If you aren't familiar with the bit, it can be shocking. Bill Burr has done it before on shock jock radio.

Dave, you've gotta stop with the "canceled" nonsense. It's just not a thing. For every person who chooses to stop listening to someone because they don't like what they've said, there's another who will start listening to them for the same reason. People are allowed to stop listening or supporting someone who's said or done something they didn't like. But nobody actually gets canceled. And further, there's never been anyone who has said, "ehhh, he's gay so he can say that" about anything Tim Dillon has said, unless *maybe* it's directly related to being gay.

Cancel culture does exist. tv/comedy shows have been cancelled, actors/actresses have been dropped from roles strictly because of political beliefs, venues refuse to host people with different political beliefs, sponsors dropping because of different political beliefs.
