Fun fact: Brad Pitt was simply on the set when they were filming the parachute scenes, and when they asked if he was willing to make a cameo, and asked how much it would cost for his appearance, Brad just asked for a cup of coffee.

Deadpool still has the cancer. His regenerative powers didn't really cure his cancer. It just keeps the cancer from killing him.

The ‘ejaculate into a soap dispenser’ line doesn’t really work as well in the theatrical version. In the extended home version though, where deadpool lists refilling the soap dispensers as one of his responsible chores in the mansion, and colossus looks at his hands in disgust after he hears that, it works far better.

"One Eyed Willy" was the name of a pirate mentioned in the movie "The Goonies" that Josh Brolin was in when he was a teenager. In the scene where Deadpool uncrossed his "baby legs" it was a reference to the Sharon Stone movie, "Basic Instinct".

@13:36 - they barely mention it in the film, but Cable is a cyborg because he was infected with a techno-organic virus that turns flesh into machinery; he only stops it spreading to the rest of his body by constantly using his mutant powers to slow it down, kind of like how Deadpool's cancer and healing factor cancel one another out.

so, in the comics, Death is female and DP is in love with her, but they can only be together when he is on the brink of dying, so their times together are very brief. that is the role that Vanessa is playing this time

8:00 I think the movie tried to make Vanessa into the character of Death in the comics, because the way Deadpool meets her briefly every time he 'dies' is very similar to the way he meets Death in the comics. However in the comics he's in love with Death and tries to kill himself to see her more often

I think the writers really did not know what to do with Vanessa in this film (it is established that she is not a mutant in the first film) so they killed her. Perhaps giving birth to Wade's child will mutate her like she is in the comics.

Everyone down here knows about Deadpool being in love with Death. What people are missing is that Deadpool is in a love triangle between himself, Death, and Thanos (Thanos has a thing for Death as well). Also, one of Deadpool's best friends, that was only glossed over in this film, is Cable. To Cable's own admission, "he makes me laugh".

Fun Fact: the bad guy Cable was played by Josh Brolin who also stared in the 80s movie the "Goonies" when he was a teen as the big brother Brand that's why Deadpool made a comment about "One Eyed Wily" in the fight scene in the prisoner truck with Domino because One Eyed Willy was the name of the ancient Pirate the Goonies were looking for

just to clarify domino's powers she has probability manipulation, hence why they just called it lucky. similar to wanda in the wandavision episode where she uses a probability hex on the stark bomb. domino's main powerset is really just probability-alteration though

He got his healing powers while he had cancer, so the healing power is constantly restoring the cancer even as it keeps him from dying from it. That's why he's in constant pain. I can't wait for She-Hulk. She doesn't break the fourth wall as often as Deadpool, but she was doing it long before he did. Cable was infected with a virus that converts his body into machine parts. He has strong powers, but most of his power is used to keep the virus at bay. That's why he uses guns. Domino's power is really cruel. Every time something lucky happens for her, someone else gets worse luck.

I read somewhere that she actually isnt lucky but she's telekinetic powers I think that work on a subconcious level, where her mind alters her sorroundings in her favor without her having to think about it.

Juggernaut is Xavier’s step brother. His strength is magical. It comes from a Ruby that he found in the ruins of Cytorak. He read a tablet while hold the Ruby and was turned into an unstoppable Juggernaut. His weakness is psychic attacks to his brain which is why he wears the helmet. To prevent telepaths like his step brother and Jean from getting in.

I love how you noticed something strange about the “give me your best shot One Eyed Willy” comment. It’s not a euphemism but just another wall break from Deadpool playing Ryan Reynolds. One Eyed Willy is of course the name of the Pirate in The Goonies.

Domino is really a mutant with the power of luck. However, when something good happens to her, something bad happens to someone else. She can't really control it. In the comics she also wears an eyepatch and is great with a gun.

We had to wait until Deadpool 2 for what they should've shown in one of the 9 X-Men movies that came before it. A fight between The Unstoppable Colossus and The Unstoppable Juggernaut. Colossus was always my favorite X-Man, going back to the late 80's to early 90's. We used to go to the arcade and play X-Men. Everyone else wanted to be Wolverine or Cyclops, but I always picked Colossus.

About the cancer: at least in the comics, the mutation didn't cure the cancer, the cancer got the healing mutation too. So it's constantly battling with his healing factor, keeping each other in check, and I think it's why his skin is all messed up.

Whenever I hear that Bowie bit, it's still a gut punch. I see Quicksilver, even in the background, I lose it. 🤗 Can't wait for them to, hopefully, team up in the third movie. Colossus isn't a mutant. He is Charles Xavier's half-brother, and he felt jealous of Charles' powers...so he sought power on his own, and found it, in the form of a magical crystal he keeps close to his skin, usually inside his helmet. He is mosntrous, and powerful, but thankfully, pretty simple-minded, if malicious. At his worst, he's the most devastating thug or side-kick. He hasn't really got the savvy for long-range plans.

Wha?🤨 The helmet protects him from mental interference because Professor X is his brother. In the 4 part Deadpool mini series, Circle Chase, Juggernaut roars out his usual, “No one stops the Juggernaut!” To which Deadpool replies by listing all the people who have in fact stopped the Juggernaut. Even after all these years thinking about it makes me snigger. 😂
