Thing about Match Game is that the bits taped after lunch were always a bit more unhinged than the bits taped earlier in the day. There were copious libations to be had during the lunch break, and everyone came back just a tad unsteady.

Fun fact concerning 29:10 Both the Bob Eubanks regular version & Bill Rafferty syndicated version of _Card Sharks_ were on at the same time, starting in 1986 until the end of the Rafferty version in 1987... That's probably why Lacy mixed up the 2! Thanks for showing that particular blooper. I've been looking for that one for a long time...

Before he could start taping for the series, he was diagnosed with a brain tumor, so it forced him to drop out of the show. Instead, they went with comedian Ross Shafer.

I really enjoyed this compilation of bloopers. It was refreshing to see new clips and not the ones that have been played over and over until they are just unwatchable. Also, all you CHROME users. You are missing out on an extension that only Firefox offers. That is the one that blocks ALL ads on KZbin. Including the ones that interrupt the vids while you are watching. In short, I watched this entire video AD FREE!!!

Lol at the parachute panties. After WW2, when fabric was still in short supply, it was very common to recycle the silk from parachutes into wedding dresses and underwear. I realise that the modern meaning is, panties that go up and down like a parachute - at least that's what it means here in New Zealand but, l thought the earlier usage may interest someone.

It was a non-cancerous tumor & it wasn't a major thing to him until 1990, over a year after _Super Password_ was off the air. It did prevent him from hosting _Match Game '90_ which then became hosted by Ross Shaffer, & the tumor eventually did lead to Bert's death in 1991 a week before what would have been his 58th birthday.

Floymin because Eubanks did the daytime version and Rafferty did the syndicated version. The syndicated version only ran from 1986-1987, whereas Eubanks’ versions was from 1986-1989.

@@Floymin "Syndicated" usually means that a show isn't on a particular network. In that case, a show is sold to different individual stations. "Wheel of Fortune" and "Jeopardy" are still done like this. The show that Bob Eubanks did was specifically on the CBS daytime schedule.
