Thing is the goalkeeper who had the ball taken from his was wrong. A goalkeeper must have both hands on the ball, not one. That was a good goal and the ref was also wrong.

The game in the rain with a waterlogged pitch was absolutely normal all the way up to the 1990's, i remember my club that I have supported for 57 years since the age of 3 which is Chelsea fc a Premier League club from London my home city, where we played in the European Cup Winners Cup in Trondheim in Norway where the game was played in a snow storm and the teams played with an orange Football. In international football games are not call b/c of a little rain. In point I play in HS and we played in the snow here in Upstate NY and still do 60 yr later. U see the weather is part of the game. This is why I hate domed stadium it takes away from the game no to play out of doors. The 2 games of football should be play with what ever the weather may be.

For "slowly" I assume you mean Sub "Snail like" or, even, Sub "Tortoise".. I know Germany had demand for a "one-off" and, as a novelty, England will sell out 1 or 2 matches in the Summer but few, outside America, have the slightest interest in a one-hour match, where the actual playing time is 13 minutes lasting 3 hours and the highlights are The Tailgating and Adverts. Enjoy your popcorn and, especially, your Cheerleaders but on behalf of the rest of the civilized World: NO THANKS
