Well american police IS untrained compared to other developed countries. I mean it´s a few weeks training vs 3 years of studies in Germany for example. And YES they do shoot a lot more than those countries. But I see the fault with that more in "75% of police shootings involve people with weapons" than with the police. I would probably shoot a lot more in Germany, too, if every idiot had a weapon here. Luckily they don´t.

I never understood what he meant by the adrenaline rush that officers get when they chase somebody until today... There was a car chase turned foot chase behind my house today and I happened to go outside for the first time in years the suspect jumped my fence and started running through my yard... I heard the officer yell STOP HIM and instinct kicked in... I started running and adrenaline flooded my body... I didn't catch him but that right there showed me what it is like to be an officer...
